MCP Content Tools: built, shipped dark, dogfooded hard. Exhibit A: this entire site — provisioned, written, designed, repaired and re-permalinked by an AI over MCP. Including this page. Especially this page.

Shipped & live in prod

Four content tools

list, get, create, update — with trash and revision-restore folded in. Seven tools became four before anyone had to unlearn the old ones.

🛡️

Guardrails everywhere

Draft by default. Every edit is a revision. Delete only reaches the trash. Page-builder layouts are detected and protected. Unentitled teams can’t even see the tools.

🔑

One-click login: GA

The sibling project already graduated — 100% of teams, 1,473 armed, the legacy path on death watch. This page’s author used it twenty minutes ago.

Still on the board

🖼️

Media import: blocked

The URL-import approach lost a fight with DNS rebinding. Needs a different shape — parked, not forgotten.

🧱

Today’s find

Switching permalinks over MCP can’t write .htaccess, so pretty URLs 404 on fresh sites. Found by dogfooding this very site. Task filed — pathway needs agreeing before code.

🚦

The flag itself

Still dark for every team. Plus the long tail: precision edits, the sensitive-op rate-limit gap, MCP Apps someday. Beta teams whenever we say go.

Take it for a spin on test, Daniel.

It’s all Pennant-flagged — arm your team on test-console, connect the MCP, and play. Zero install, zero setup, every site on the team. This site is the receipt. After the ride, obviously.
